My last apology

The girl I'm writing this poem for,
she knows it's for her.
This time it isn't filled with gore.
I'm apologizing that's for sure.

I know I've been wrong,
I made more than one mistake.
But i wasn't the only one,
who made this friendship break.

It wasn't for glory,
I even apologized for the smallest crimes.
I said sorry
way too many times.

You just stood there,
never said you're sorry.
You think it's fair,
figuring out another story?

Perfect, it's not mine,
but neither are you.
I don't seek forgiveness this time.
But deep inside I don't want it to be through.
